Meet The Team

Dr. Zak Allmand is committed to providing exceptional dental care through a combination of advanced technology, continuing education, and a patient-centered approach. He believes the best dentistry begins with listening—understanding each patient's goals, concerns, and priorities before developing a personalized treatment plan.

Dr. Allmand graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005 after receiving a highly competitive Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force.

Following dental school, Dr. Allmand completed a rigorous Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, where he graduated at the top of his class. He then served as an Air Force dentist for five years, including a deployment to Kyrgyzstan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During his deployment, he helped establish a dental clinic that provided care to military personnel and patients from around the world.

Dr. Allmand is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society. He is passionate about lifelong learning and regularly pursues advanced training in digital dentistry, Invisalign® treatment, dental implants, sleep-disordered breathing, and emerging technologies that improve patient comfort and outcomes.

As a cofounder of Monon Family Dental, Dr. Allmand has built a practice centered on relationships, trust, and clinical excellence. His goal is to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Outside the office, Dr. Allmand enjoys spending time with his three children, coaching his son's baseball team, playing golf, staying active, and exploring new technology and innovations in healthcare.
